This years 2022 Human Firewall event was a great success after a 2 year break for Covid. BOSS was one of a few hosts who put on the cyber security event that was geared towards local business owners in the community. Mobile Vu, a Verizon Wireless Agent, was the Platinum Sponsor for the event.
The keynote speaker, Mitch Taylor, from Ingomar Packing Company brought the crowd up to speed on the latest Cyber Security attack vectors. During the 2019 event, Mr. Taylor laid out the top 10 most popular methods of attack by bad actors towards businesses. Only three years later, three of these attack methods remained on the top 10 list, proving the ever changing landscape in cyber security threats.
At the end of the event the iHub San Joaquin ,along with the SBDC and BOSS, offered a FREE Cyber Inspection to grade the state of security of any business in the valley that would like to take part. For the next few months this will be offered through the Human Firewall Event site at www.humanfirewallevent.com.
