After a 2-year hiatus due to Covid-19, the 2022 Human Firewall event was a resounding success, with BOSS among the few hosts to organize this cybersecurity event targeting local business owners in the community. The event’s Platinum Sponsor was Mobile Vu, a Verizon Wireless Agent.
The keynote speaker, Mitch Taylor, from Ingomar Packing Company, updated the audience on the latest cyber security attack vectors. In the 2019 event, Mr. Taylor had outlined the top 10 most popular attack methods employed by malicious actors targeting businesses. Only three years later, three of these methods remained on the top 10 list, underscoring the constantly evolving nature of cyber security threats.
At the conclusion of the event, the iHub San Joaquin, along with the SBDC and BOSS, provided a FREE Cyber Inspection to grade the security status of any business in the valley that wished to participate. This offer will be available through the Human Firewall Event site at www.humanfirewallevent.com for the next several months.
